Windows 8 has been the buss for the last couple of months, when it comes to PC talks, operating systems. Daily, new PC users upgrade their computers operating system to the new windows OS which is the windows 8.
The reason for this upgrade is very obvious.
The windows 8 operating system consist of awesome features like the touch screen support, great apps, webstore etc.
But there’s one thing many don’t think about before they upgrade which is what i am going to show you. There are little things your tend to lose when ever you are upgrading or downgrading your OS, either on tablets, PCs or smartphones even houses.
Things You Will Lose When You Upgrade To Windows 8 (All OS)
Things you will lose if you are upgrading to windows 8 From windows 7
When ever you are upgrading your PC from windows 7 to windows 8, you will experience no problem at all. All your personal files, apps and all the Windows settings will be transferred automatically to the new OS.
Things you will lose if you are upgrading to windows 8 From Vista
But if you are upgrading your PC to windows 8 from Vista,note that you are only going to have your Windows Settings and your Personal file automatically transferred. All Apps that you installed will not be transferred to Windows 8. You will be required to re-install them manually.
Things you will lose if you are upgrading to windows 8 From XP
If you are moving to windows 8 from window XP, you will lose all the Windows settings and Apps. The upgrade will only transfer your personal files.
Things you will lose if you are upgrading to windows 8 From Windows 8 Release Preview
Same case a s that of XP, If you are upgrading your PC from Windows 8 Release Preview, it will transfer only your personal files. It will never transfer your windows settings and Apps etc…
From Windows Consumer Preview or Windows Developer Preview
When you transfer your PC to Windows 8 from Windows Consumer Preview or Windows Developer Preview. You will loss everything but you can get back all the personal files manually from Windows old folder.

Windows 7 seem to be the best bet to upgrade your PC to windows 8 because you stand to loose nothing.
